March 29 - Stop Trying to Working Things Out

before their times have come.

There is something about the first paragraph of this devotion that got to me and I think it was optimistic hope in living that kind of life. ALL THINGS of this world wouldn't have any bad effect on us. All we would have to do is ask God is this problem that just arose is part of our day today - if it isn't, then we can let it go. How many less tears, headaches and pain would we have to go through if we gave everything that didn't matter today to God? A lot!

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:33

I love here how Sarah Young wrote that a life with Christ is not cluttered or complicated. Jesus has overcome the worst that this world has to offer and He has lived a life with doubt and suffering so He knows where we're at. He has overcome all of it! He has overcome the world - and in THAT we can truly have peace.

Lord - Thank You for being a God who has limitless power and limitless knowledge. It makes our job so much easier because we can trust in the fact that You know things will turn out right. We love you so much, Lord! Thank you for bringing us this day to live in this day. Thank You for the presence of Your spirit - so that we may know when you are with us. Thank You for You and Your son! Amen!

Love love love to all!
